ALICIA R. GRAY, D.M.D.

​Dr. Alicia R. Gray earned a BA degree from Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey. She pursued her dream of a dental career at the New Jersey Dental School. During her years at the dental school, Dr. Gray was very active in the student government and the mentoring/tutoring programs. She was also instrumental in organizing the first student chapter of the New Jersey Dental Association. At the 1999 graduation, she was the recipient of many awards, including the American Association of Endodontists Award. Dr. Gray was accepted to the endodontic post-graduate program at New Jersey Dental School and she earned her endodontic certificate in 2001.

 

In 2004, Dr. Gray moved to the Lone Star State and currently resides in the city of Allen. She is an active member of national and local dental organizations. Her professional memberships include the American Association of Endodontists, National Dental Association, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, North Texas Dental Society, DFW Metroplex Endodontic Society, and the Southwest Society of Endodontists. In 2006, Dr. Gray and Dr. Fatima Robertson opened the Center of Endodontics, Periodontics, and Implantology, L.L.C.

 

Dr. Gray believes that a job well done means that the patient smiles before and after endodontic treatment.

 

In her spare time, Dr. Gray enjoys running, cooking, and gardening. 

DEIDRE M. BRIGGS, D.D.S.

​Dr. Deidre Briggs holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from West Virginia University. Having been interested in becoming a dentist since she was a child, Dr. Briggs continued her education at WVU and earned her D.D.S. degree. During her dental school education, Dr. Briggs was the recipient of the WVU Dental Scholarship during her sophomore, junior, and senior years. This scholarship is awarded to only two students per class and is based on academic performance. During her senior year, she received The American Academy of Periodontology award for outstanding achievement in Periodontics, The American Academy of Dental Practice Administration award for excellence in practice administration and four handed dentistry, and The American Equilibration Society award for outstanding performance in the science of occlusion and temporomandibular joint function. Dr. Briggs was also honored to be inducted into the highly regarded national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. A very small percentage of each graduating dental school class is selected for membership for demonstrating exceptional scholastic achievement as well as high moral, ethical, and professional standards. 

 

Dr. Briggs was accepted to the endodontic post-graduate program at the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned her endodontic certificate. Dr. Briggs proudly joined Dr. Gray at the Center of Endodontics, Periodontics, and Implantology, LLC  in 2008. She and her fiancée, who grew up in the Dallas area, reside in McKinney.

 

Dr. Briggs is a member of Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity, the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, and the DFW Metroplex Endodontic Society. For those patients suffering from dental anxiety, Dr. Briggs is licensed to provide nitrous oxide sedation and oral conscious sedation.
